Baxter's Hollow (Migration Song)

I've only been to Baxter's Hollow twice. Both times in the past year. Once in the summer, once in the fall. What a beautiful, and inspiring place.  After my first visit thoughts of a poem or song lyric started rolling around in my head. The beauty of the hollow, and the name itself, just seemed to lend itself to something poetic. 

​Eventually I found the theme and wrote a song about bird migration. A song about growing up, about home, life's journey, and of coming home. It's a simple song. A simple melody. And very simple ukulele accompaniment (I'm an amateur). That said, I hope you enjoy it. Maybe it will inspire you to visit Baxter's Hollow. Or someplace closer to home as well.
