Creekwood park - Greenfield, WI
Another neighborhood ParkNextDoor , Creekwood Park is a quiet City of Greenfield neighborhood park. This 4.2 acre park features a children's playground, gazebo picnic area, and a short woodland walking trail that follows along Honey Creek as it winds through the park.
Note that the walking trail is not a looped trail.
On my walk here, on a warm March day, there were Mallard Ducks swimming in Honey Creek, Red-wing Blackbirds, Grackles, Robins, and Downy Woodpeckers, calling from the trees. Once the snow has fully melted, and the trees are leafed out, my instincts tell me this would be a great bird watching spot come spring migration.
There is no parking lot, however, there are parking spaces available along 43rd Street.
Location: 5065 S. 43rd Street, Greenfield, WI (Milwaukee County)
