Vernon Wildlife Area - Waterford, WI
Vernon Wildlife Area is over 4600 acres located just north of Mukwonago. The Fox River meanders through amid a mix of wetlands, grasslands, and wood lots. It is home to a mix of wildlife, including deer, migrating and nesting waterfowl and songbirds.
Hiking trails are not designated. Boating, fishing, cross country skiing, canoeing, and dog trial grounds are some of the other recreational opportunities available. It's a beautiful spot to while away a sunny afternoon.

Closed from September 1 through November 30, except for Gun Deer Hunting
