Crooked Creek Nature Preserve - East Troy, WI
Crooked Creek Preserve is a sanctuary for plants, birds, and other animals located within the Mukwonago River Watershed project area. The preserve includes 276 acres, including a kettle lake. A hike at the preserve may bring views of Cooper's Hawks, migrating osprey and sandhill cranes, and a multitude of songbirds, particularly during migration season. Trails vary from prairie, woods, and somewhat soggy areas near the lake. Some of the vistas provide amazing views. Bring your camera.
