copernicus park - milwaukee, WI
This neighborhood park may be only 20 acres, but if I lived in the immediate area, I would make it a daily trek. The wooded trails aren't long, but they are winding and pleasant. The day we visited it was late winter and sunny; I expect spring will bring with it lots of green, and lots of birds perched in the trees.
The park, just south of Grange, and bordered by 20th and 23rd streets, includes walking trails, a tot lot, and a basketball court. A nice spot for an afternoon walk, or a play date for the kids. Want a quiet bench to relax with a good book? Its got that, too.
Hours: Daily, 6am - 10pm
