Greendale Children's Garden - Greendale, WI

Located within Daffodil Park, behind the east side business stores on Broad Street, this Children's Garden is a community effort. This summer garden is maintained by locals, with a focus on involving the children in the planting of seeds, and more.  There's a mix of flowers, vegetables, and herbs, with quaint seating thrown in for good measure.

The surrounding park is quiet and peaceful, and features an old snag of a tree brimming with character and hosting a fairy garden for the summer season. Charming.  There's a small children's playground, and a selection of picnic tables and park benches for enjoying the view.

You can reach the park by crossing the bridge that spans the small creek behind the shopping mall. Or enter via the park walking trails at either the north or south end.  The park also connects to Gazebo Park, at the corner of Schoolway and Broad Street.  During summer concerts are held at Gazebo Park on Saturdays and Sundays.
