Prairie Springs Park - Pleasant Prairie, WI
Prairie Springs Park is a multi-use rec-plex in Pleasant Prairie. Located in-between I-94 and the Lake Michigan shoreline, Prairie Springs offers hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, wind surfing, and sailing to residents and non-residents alike. Water activities are all allowed on Lake Andrea, in the heart of the park. However, there are Daily or Annual Access Fees based on your resident status. Access without a pass allows for street parking only. Parking stickers are required to park in any of the parking lots. You can find rate information and boating specifications here.
The wooded nature trails here add up to over two miles of trails, and traverse wooded trails, wetlands, and open fields. Along the trail you'll find an observation deck, and a long boardwalk/ bridge that extends into a wildlife viewing area to a nature preserve.
Other activities available at the park include an archery range, soccer fields, softball fields, volleyball pits, and a 2.3 mile paved walking/running trail around Lake Andrea. Two children's playgrounds are available for use, and restrooms are available at the Pavilion during the summer season. The pavilion is also available for event rentals.
