Jacobus Park - Wauwatosa, WI
Jacobus Park is a 31-acre Wauwatosa neighborhood park with connections to both the Oak Leaf and Forked Aster trails. This tree-laden park provides a scenic walk in every season. Autumn is especially colorful with golden leaves hanging from the tree canopies along the parkway and the walking trails. Bird watching is popular here, especially with the parks proximity to the Menomonee River.
The park runs parallel to the Menomonee River, along the West Honey Creek Parkway. It features about a mile of winding walking trails, a tiny tot play lot, a practice field, and a wading pool for the little ones to cool off in on hot summer days. There's also a pavilion for rent on the hill overlooking a lagoon.
Picnic areas are reserveable. Restrooms are available during warmer seasons. Street parking available.
Hours: Open Daily, 6am - 10pm
Location: 6501 W. Hillside Lane, Wauwatosa, WI (Milwaukee County)
