high grove park - new berlin

High Grove is one of those respites in the middle of a residential neighborhood. You don't necessarily expect it. But if I lived nearby, I would definitely take my walks there.  At 15 acres, the park is simple. It has a small playground area, and even a basketball court and baseball field, nestled among the marshy surroundings.  There is a short, but peaceful walking trail that circles the park.  Park benches are scattered along the trail, should you wish to sit and enjoy a peaceful moment. There were lots of chickadees about while I was there.  I expect it's a nice birding spot come spring and summer.  

There is street parking only.
