Located along the Yahara River, Viking County Park is 78 acres of wilderness just minutes from downtown Stoughton, and 75 miles southwest of Milwaukee. The green here is striking, and birdwatching is plentiful.
The park features a multi-use trail, hiking trails, shoreline fishing, a canoe launch, picnic areas, and a rentable shelter. Snowmobile trails, and snowshoe/winter hiking are available here as well. A popular feature here is the off-leash dog exercise areas, along with beach/swimming areas for dogs as well.
