calhoun park - new berlin, wi
Calhoun Park is a great mix of sports park, nature trails, picnic shelters, and more in a spacious setting. At 55 acres, there's something for everyone here. Walking/running trails through the woods, a sizable fishing pond with an accessible pier, spaces for baseball, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. In winter there is a sledding hill.
There's a playground for the younger kids. Picnic areas, grills, and three reservable shelters are offered as well. The walking trail through the woods is approximately .73 miles, short, but rather hilly. A decent workout. Scenic, too.
Restrooms on site. Open May-September.
Hours: Open daily, 7am - 10pm
Parking lots accessible from Calhoun Road
Location: 5400 S. Calhoun Road, New Berlin (Waukesha County)
