Lulu Lake Nature Preserve - East Troy, WI
Lulu Lake Preserve, managed by the Nature Conservancy, is home to Lulu Lake, a pristine lake that is prime habitat for several rare fish species, reptiles and amphibians, and rare mussels and plants. Hiking trails wind along sedge meadows and wetlands, and up and over prairie remnants and oak openings. There is no direct access to the lake from this preserve, but the hiking trails, and the lake views are beautiful. Bird watching is great here, as well as viewing early summer wildflowers. Autumn colors are magnificent here, and even winter snowfalls provide peaceful trails and scenic views.
