Thunder Mountain Overlook Park - Crivitz, WI

Located in Western Marinette County, Thunder Mountain Overlook is 160 acres of walking and mountain biking trails, that feature stellar views of the surrounding area. Three miles of mowed trails traverse native plants and trees, along varying hilly terrain. Reaching the top of the overlook, the autumn colors in view are vivid and breathtaking.

This was my last scenic stop of the day during a trip through Marinette County. It was completely worth it, and a beautiful way to finish up a day of sightseeing and nature walks.  

Rustic restrooms, and picnic areas are located along the trails.  A water pump is available.
Hours: Open Daily 5am - 10pm, May 1 through end of hunting season. Closed in winter.
Fees: Marinette County Parks day or season pass required.
Pets: dogs are permitted on-leash, and must be cleaned up after
