On the grounds of the Geneva Lakes Conservancy you'll find the historic Mill House, and its Native Plant Preserve. If you want to add native plants and flowers to your landscape, but you want to maintain a more formal look, this native garden has plenty of ideas for you. Garden plots include a pollinator garden, sloped garden, fern garden, prairie garden, oak grove, and a children's garden. All incorporate native plants, trees, and shrubs that provide both ecological benefit and beauty.
With a wide variety of native perennials including coneflower, black-eyed susan, native ferns, milkweed, cardinal flower and more. Plants that will provide plenty of color and texture to your garden all season long.
Visit the Geneva Lakes Conservancy offices on weekdays, 9am to 5pm, for information on all their preserves, local conservation efforts, education, and other helpful resources.
Mill House is adjacent to the Hildebrand Nature Conservancy. You can find a trail connection to Hildebrand along the walking path behind Mill House. Hildebrand is a scenic, 11.5 acre preserve with walking trails, native plants and trees, and great birdwatching.

Dogs permitted in the gardens on-leash only.
