Menominee River Park - Wausaukee, WI
On a quick fall leaf-peeping trip to Marinette County, I stopped for a brief visit to this 65-acre Menominee County park that resides along the scenic Menominee River. Located about 18 miles north of Marinette, it's a great spot to spend an afternoon relaxing by the water. A day-use area, it offers picnic tables, horseshoe pits, fishing, a boat landing, and a rentable open-air pavilion.
If you're looking for a peaceful spot for a wander near the river, or to enjoy a picnic lunch, check it out. There is a $5 day use fee. The fee can be paid using the self-serve envenlopes on-site, or you can pre-pay online and print out a pass to put on your dash. One pass can be used to access multiple Marinette County Parks in one day. If you reside in the area, a yearly park pass will run $25.
Entrance Fees: $5 day pass, or annual pass required (per vehicle)
Hours: Daily, 8am - 10pm
Parking: Parking lot on site
Restrooms Available
Location: 2226 Park Place Drive, Wausaukee, WI (Marinette County)
