Firefly Grove Park - Wauwatosa, WI

Firefly Grove Park is a new multi-use park that opened in Wauwatosa in May of 2025. One of the most notable features in the park is an original Thomas Domba troll statue - Mama Rosa. She has stopped to smell the flowers (lampposts) in the park, and greets visitors just a minute or two from the main park entrance off of 116th Street.

The park features a wide array of family-friendly features: paved walking trails (wheelchair accessible), a bicycle pump track, an open-air pavilion with picnic benches, a unique children's play area, swings that accommodate adults and children, a sledding hill, natural play spaces, and plenty of park benches, including several artful benches designed by artists near and far.

Naturally sustainable features include native plants and trees, stormwater management, a rain garden, and a solar array that collects power to supply the nearby police station. The park is wildlife friendly, providing food, water, and nearby shelter for birds, deer, ducks, and other urban wildlife.
